The Nigerian Australian Football Association (NAFA) was established with the vision of creating increased opportunities for the Nigerians in NSW, Australia through Australian Football. NAFA is dedicated to fostering football engagement within the Nigerian and wider African-Australian communities in New South Wales, giving a platform for youth and adult players to showcase their talent, build community connections, and celebrate cultural heritage through sport. As part of our mission to promote diversity and inclusion in sports.

Objectives and Community Impact:

1. Transforming lives through the game of Football.

2. Encourage Youth & Community Engagement: Providing opportunities for young Nigerian-Australians and other multicultural communities to participate in organized sports.

3. Promote Health and Well-being: Through structured football activities, we aim to encourage physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.

4. Strengthen Social Cohesion: Bringing together players, families, and local organizations, fostering a sense of unity and belonging.

5. Support Talent Development: Participating in tournaments in NSW will serve as a scouting ground for talented players who may advance to higher levels of football.

6. Developing, managing and growing the Nigerian Australian Football and brand for competitions in NSW, Australia.

7. Providing opportunities for engagement and development to people of all ages, background and abilities within NSW, Australia.
